Create a custom banner to decorate a wedding venue. This one was made from faux suede fabric, not only giving it an elegant look, but making it super easy to sew because the fabric doesn’t fray. The two layers of fabric provide sufficient weight so that it will hang beautifully. Loops for hanging the banner are stitched between the fabric front and back, so it can be hung easily from a dowel rod. If desired, add some decorative trim - such as ric rac, as a “frame” around the piece. The finished size of the main banner shown is approximately 211⁄2” x 23” (55cm x 60cm), plus the tabs.
