What You Need:
  • Wool or felt fabric in different colors
  • Tear-a-Way stabilizer
  • Sewing or embroidery thread
  • Double sided fusible web (optional)
  • Spiral Coaster Design

Cut:

Combine fabrics and cut pieces you want for your coasters. The bottom fabric should be approxiomately 6"x6" /15x15cm.
Cut one or two fabric in different sized circles (they can be a bit rough on the edges)

Tip: Use double sided fusible to stick the circles to each other before embroidering.

Embroider:

Hoop stabilizer in a small hoop (the design measures 4”x4” (10x10cm).

Place the fabric square centered in the hoop. Place the circles randomly on top. Embroider the spiral.

Remove the stabilizer and fabric from the hoop. Cut the fabric about ¼” (6mm) from the outside the edge of the spiral stitching.

The style of your coasters becomes very different based on the colors you select. Personalize them for all of your family and friends!
